• Lead research and development projects focusing on crucial safety technologies for automated driving, chassis and vehicle motion control solutions, ranging from system level down to component level, considering the challenges of both hardware (e.g. microcontroller architecture, fault metrics) and software (e.g. service-oriented architecture, data-driven approaches, freedom from interference and consolidation)
• Demonstrate a hands-on attitude when developing cutting-edge technical safety concepts and architectures, as well as performing effective safety analyses to ensure the safety of Huawei’s Automated Driving and Vehicle Control solutions
• Create insights in automotive safety technologies, author reports on current industry state and trends and develop mid/long-term technology roadmaps for AEL
• Work with executives to drive the safety strategy of the automotive division, strengthen the safety culture and highlight the importance of safety across the organization
• Build, lead and manage a cross-cultural safety team in AEL with motivated experts in functional safety, SOTIF, software architecture and AD/ADAS technologies
• Build academic and industry cooperation within Europe and fully leveraging the safety advantages of the German automotive industry and safety expertise
